Day Six - Port Douglas

Said goodbye to Cooktown and headed back south this morning. Stopped off at Port Douglas, where we went up to the lookout and then the waterfront. We had gourmet burgers for lunch and did a little shopping before heading back to Cairns along the coast road.

Rex Lookout was a popular stop and with a view like this it's no wonder why

Stopped off at Rex Lookout for spectacular views of the sea. Pulled in for a quick look at Palm Cove and then headed for the DFO in Cairns for a spot of shopping.

Finished the day by picking up some supplies from the grocery store and then heading back to the motel to book our trip to Upolu Reef on Friday.
